Good morning, Bennett.
“Thanks for calling Bennett Plumbing. How can I help?”
Illustrative conversationYou can’t answer the phone
with your hands in a drain.
Plumbing calls come in at the worst times. A caller with a leak usually doesn’t wait for a callback. They try the next number.
While you’re on a job
Under a sink, on a roof, talking to a customer. The phone rings and you can’t get to it.
After hours and weekends
Burst pipes and backed-up drains don’t wait for business hours. Neither do the people calling about them.
When the call is missed
Voicemail gets skipped. A missed call is often a job that goes to whoever answered first.
Built once. Branded for your shop.
Bought once.
One base platform, customized into your company’s own system. That’s how you get a tailored receptionist without paying for development from scratch.
- Step 1
We built the platform
An AI receptionist and owner dashboard designed only for plumbing calls: service questions, job details, appointments and callbacks.
- Step 2
We customize it to your business
Your name, greeting, services, rules and workflow. We add what your shop needs and leave out what it doesn’t.
- Step 3
You pay once for your version
One software purchase for your customized system. Phone, AI and hosting costs are explained before you commit.
Vance AI keeps the underlying code. That’s how one platform serves many shops, and how your purchase stays a single price.
A real-world call.
A useful next step.
Choose a situation your shop knows well. Follow the conversation from the first question to the owner’s screen.
“My kitchen faucet won’t stop dripping. Do you handle that?”
“Yes, we handle faucet repairs. Can I get your name and the address where you need service?”
A request ready for follow-up.
Contact details and the repair request are saved for the owner. An appointment is only confirmed after a successful booking.

Everything on this site is the starting point. We tailor it to how your shop actually works: your name and look, what the receptionist says and asks, which jobs it handles and what it connects to. Add what you need, leave out what you don’t.
Within reason, if it fits how your business runs, we can build it. Every change is scoped and priced in your quote before work starts.

Good questions.
Straight answers.
The questions plumbing owners ask most.
All questionsWhat is Vance AI?
Receptionist software and an owner dashboard built only for plumbing companies. It answers your business line in your company’s name, answers questions using information you approve, collects job details, can book appointments into your schedule, and saves every call for you to review.
How much can you customize?
A lot. Your branding, what the receptionist says and asks, which calls and tasks it handles, your emergency handling, the dashboard and the tools it connects to. If it fits how your business runs and is reasonable to build, we can usually do it. If something isn’t a good fit, we’ll say so.
Can it book appointments?
Yes. It books into the Jobs schedule in your dashboard, using your hours, appointment length and availability. It only tells the caller an appointment is confirmed after the booking has actually been saved.
What happens with emergency calls?
You set your emergency policy during setup. The receptionist can offer to transfer an urgent caller to your phone. If you don’t pick up, or the caller would rather not wait, it keeps the details of the problem, collects their contact information and saves a callback so you can call them back.
Can I keep my business phone number?
Yes. Your carrier forwards calls from your existing number to the receptionist, and your customers keep calling the number they already have. Forwarding options vary by carrier, so it’s set up and tested during setup. Moving (porting) your number is not part of the standard setup.
Is there a monthly subscription?
The software is a one-time purchase. The services it runs on (phone line, AI usage and hosting) have ongoing usage costs. Who holds those accounts and pays each bill is agreed in your package before you buy, so there are no surprises.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is quoted after a demo, based on the configuration, branding and support you need. Before you commit, you’ll see both the one-time software price and the running costs to expect.
Do I own the underlying code?
No. Vance AI keeps the platform code and offers the same base software to many plumbing businesses. That’s what keeps it a single price instead of a development project from scratch. Your purchase covers the use of your customized version.
